Easy Installation and Replacement
Replacing or installing a pool ladder shouldn’t be a hassle. That’s why all our inground pool ladders are designed for easy assembly and drop-in installation into standard deck anchors. Our replacement pool ladders come with ladder bumpers and escutcheon plates, making the process even simpler.
To remove a pool ladder, follow these steps: First, raise the escutcheon plate, allowing access to the anchor wedge bolt. Loosen the bolt using a 1/2″ socket or box end wrench. Once loosened, tap the bolt head with a heavy wrench or hammer to knock it down and loosen the anchor wedge. With a little rocking motion, the rail will easily detach from the anchor.
To install a new pool ladder, cut out a 20″ x 30″ area of the pool deck behind the coping. Mount the anchor sockets on a 20″ channel, add steel mesh, and pour a new concrete pad up to the lip of the anchor sockets. Allow the concrete to cure for 7-14 days before enjoying your new ladder. You can also opt for surface mounting with aluminum deck flanges.
