Maxi Dress/Kaftan
A must-have for any tropical destination is a stunning maxi dress or kaftan. My personal favorite is a neon maxi dress by SemSem, which I scored on sale. Unfortunately, my color is currently sold out, but you can find other beautiful shades here. For a statement piece, check out this gorgeous maxi dress by Taller Marmo. And if you prefer kaftans, I’ll also be sharing a few more options at various price points.
Midi Dress
Midi dresses are perfect for making a statement without worrying about ruining your outfit. One of the reasons I love them is their versatility, as they can also be great transition pieces for fall and winter. Take a look at this beautiful AFRM midi dress with a fun print, priced under $100. I’ll also be sharing a few other options for you to consider.
Evening Dress
When nighttime comes, it’s essential to switch to a more formal outfit. I recently packed two items for my tropical vacation that I think are perfect for evening wear. The first is a sexy and classy dress by Ladyee Boutique, priced just under $100. Another option to consider is this stunning red dress by Solace. Both will make you feel fabulous during your evenings out.
Swimwear/Statement Coverup
Whether you’re a fan of one-piece swimsuits or bikinis, packing multiple swimwear options is essential for any tropical getaway. But let’s not forget about the importance of a stylish coverup! I’ll be sharing some of my favorites, including my gorgeous embellished coverup by Ade by Femi. Also, check out this stunning swimsuit by Andrea Iyamah, currently on sale. Take a look at the options below.
Jumpsuits/Rompers
While I usually lean towards rompers, I’m always excited to wear a jumpsuit on a tropical vacation. Here are some of my favorites that I would highly recommend for your trip.
Slides/Sandals
For a comfortable and stylish footwear option, I personally love designer slides. One of my favorites is the Hermes Oran, but keep in mind that they’re better suited for narrow feet. If you have wider feet, I recommend the Chypre sandals or the Valentino Vlogo slides. In my roundup, I’ve also included Birkenstocks and Melissa slides for more affordable options.
Straw Bag/Tote
No tropical vacation is complete without a chic straw bag or tote. My personal favorite is the Jacquemus Le Panier tote, but I’ve also curated a few other options at various price points for you to consider.
Sunglasses
Is it even a vacation without a stylish pair of sunglasses? My current favorites are from Dior, but I’ve also included a pair by The Attico in my selection. Check them out below!
Hats
Don’t forget to protect yourself from the sun with a fashionable hat. Here are some options I absolutely adore!
Shorts
Lastly, I can’t forget to mention shorts! They’re perfect for casual daytime outings during your tropical vacation. Choose a style that suits you and enjoy your time in the sun.
Now that you have some fantastic outfit ideas for your next tropical vacation, start planning and packing! Remember to choose items that make you feel confident and comfortable. Happy travels!
